There is a giant poster at Curves, DTC that says, “Play inspires you to think differently.” There should be another poster that says, “The Academy inspires you to think better.”
By associating with individuals who enjoy learning for the sake of learning, and thinking for the sake of thinking, it does not take long before realizing that participants at the Academy are good thinkers. They seek facts to form opinions. They change opinions when they learn new facts. They are willing to cross political lines when they hear evidence contrary to party positions. They are better thinkers, more informed, and more interesting at the end of Academy classes.
Play inspires you to think differently.
The Academy inspires you to think better.
