The Academy's third One-Day University was a huge success with over 900 participants attending classes on May 25, 2010.  (For further details, click on Read More) This annual event is a FREE opportunity to sample up to three...

...classes, selecting from four different options during the morning, noon, and afternoon time-slots.  Subjects ranged from musical theatre to the national debt, and from Pearl Harbor to Assembly-Line Babies.  The program took place at Wellshire Presbyterian Church, 2999 S. Colorado Blvd.

“This is just a sampling of what we offer during the Academy’s regular terms,” says Ralph Plimpton, president of the nonprofit Academy, now in its eighth year.  “We are pleased that so many people took advantage of this free event to experience these exciting learning opportunities in Denver.”

Bebe Telles, one of more than 1200 “students” currently enrolled, says that “as my experience with the Academy expands, I am increasingly impressed with the intellectual level of the facilitators and participants.  What a stimulating group of people!”

The fourth annual One-Day University will be held in May of 2011.  Get onto the Academy's mailing list to receive details about the event.
