The Academy offers opportunities for adults to explore intellectual and cultural enrichment through courses, seminars, discussion groups, and lectures during the day.

Each class meets once a week for four to ten weeks on Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays from 10-12 noon or 1:30-3:30. The classes begin the week of September 16, meeting at Wellshire Presbyterian Church, 2999 S. Colorado Blvd, just north of Wellshire Golf Course.

At this time the Academy needs some help in promoting their courses. We, and our retired or flex-hour friends, are their target market. Please forward this Email to your friends and acquaintances who might be interested in this opportunity.

I am writing to let you know about a great opportunity to learn about interesting subjects and have fun. The Academy is a group of people gathered together on Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays to enjoy intellectual and cultural adventures in learning.

The program's fall term will begin the week of September 16. Each class lasts two hours per week for up to ten weeks per term. There are no examinations, grades, or prerequisites other than a love of learning.
